Each year, at the world’s largest gathering of women and non-binary technologists, Citadel hosts an unforgettable evening event to inspire women in STEM and present their credentials as an employer of choice.
But so does every other financial and technology firm out there.
Citadel asked us to concept an event that would be the most compelling to women in technology and true to their culture—even if it wasn’t the flashiest.
Our key tension: Citadel is a meritocratic place. Being pushed and challenged is a mark of respect. But if you accept that challenge, the upside is unlimited.
We encapsulated that in one word: Boundless.
Each of our three events has been focused around a conversation with a woman who has expanded the boundaries of what’s possible, in fields dominated by men.
Retired astronaut Dr. Cady Coleman spoke about risk, teamwork, and spacesuits. Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett talked to our audience about critical research that led to the Moderna COVID vaccine. And most recently Judit Polgar, the greatest woman chess player of all time, spoke about risk-taking and decision-making when the stakes are highest.
