Bryn Dodson is a fiction writer, copywriter, and award-winning creative director with experience across branding, digital product, campaign, and editorial.
As an ad creative, Bryn has led a transformational rebrand for a Fortune 500 company and a launch campaign for a new media brand, and built an event franchise to expand the horizons of women in STEM.
He wrote a Super Bowl radio spot that won the Westwood One Awards of Sound, and his work has won multiple Shortys, Drum Awards for Marketing, and more. Bryn is currently Creative Director, Copy, at Code and Theory, an Ad Age A-List agency.
Bryn is a graduate of New York University’s MFA program in Creative Writing, where he was a finalist for the Axinn Foundation/E.L. Doctorow Fellowship. His fiction has appeared in Westerly, Oxonian Review, [PANK], Aurealis, and elsewhere.
Prior to winding up in advertising, Bryn practiced law in Western Australia and England, primarily in general litigation, insurance, and insolvency.
Bryn is an obsessive cook, middling guitarist, and schnauzer enthusiast, and has made it his life’s work to convince Americans that cricket is an exciting game. Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, he lives in Brooklyn, New York.
